Transportation in Nevada

On the western part of Unites States of America, the state of Nevada is situated with its capital city, Carson. Though the official nickname of Nevada is 'The Silver State'; however, people also refer the state as 'The Battle-Born State' and 'The Sagebrush State'. Nevada is known for the lavish lifestyle, gambling, rigid drug laws and last but not the least Las Vegas, her largest city. The economy of Nevada has been always flourishing because of the thriving sectors, mainly tourism. Modern infrastructure and well developed transportation in Nevada have been one of the main reasons behind the tremendous progress of the state.

Well connected roadways and ample number of road transportation in Nevada makes access to different places of Nevada trouble-free. The highways, streets, and flyovers of Nevada shorten the distances between varied places and lessen the causes of congestion. Sometimes, the condition of the roadways becomes terribly bad, mainly due to the weather conditions and continuous construction across the state. McCarran International Airport and Reno-Tahoe International Airport are the main airports of Nevada, offering services to numerous domestic as well as international airlines. Apart from these airports, there are several other public airports across the state. These airports also provide tour information, ATM facilities, accommodations and so forth to the travelers.
