California National Historic Trail was set up in the year 1992 on August 3. Nevada’s California’s Historic Trail is located on the Missouri river, which covers cities like Independence and Saint Joseph. There was a time when California Trail was the main route from Missouri to California during the mid 19th century. On a later stage portions of the Trail was safely conserved by the National Park Service. Since then onwards the name got changed to California National Historic Trail based in Nevada.
