Administrative divisions in the Nevada Government has three major divisions, the Executive, the Legislative and the Judiciary. These divisions are discussed in details below -
The Executive – The topmost seat of the executive branch of Government of Nevada belongs to the Republican governor Jim Gibbons whose term is restricted to 4 years. Next in command in the Nevada Government is the Lieutenant Governor. The other top office holders of the executive branch are the Secretary of State, Treasurer, Comptroller and Attorney General. The departments of the Executive branch of Kansas Government are - Administrative Services, Agriculture, Banking, Children and Families, Consumer Protection, Correction, Economic and Community Development just to name a few.
The Legislative – The Nevada Legislature is a bicameral body comprising of an upper house Senate and a lower house Assembly. Members of the Senate serve a term of four years while the members of the Assembly serve for two years.
The Judicial – The highest court of Nevada is its Supreme Court functioning under the aegis of the Chief Justice. It is the Supreme Court which dictates all the laws enforced in Nevada.
